Angus and Eliza (Year 4)
He’s dark, he’s scary, he has a medium sized turtle like
head. His big spiky green shell is a blood dripping terror.
His name, is Spike, he lives deep, deep down in the bottom
of the night zoo, the blood dripping terror eats anything in
his path...
He’s fierce.Nothing scares him, his favourite food is, well,
mostly, anything and everything. He’s a killer...
His tail is long and has a spike ball on the end.
He breathe’s jet black fire, fierce as a tiger.Nothing, trust
me, nothing stands in his way...
If he looks you in the eye you will be stone.

Wow! That's definitely a creature I wouldn't want to meet on a dark night ... or even during the day for that matter! You used some really rich and varied vocabulary to paint a vivid picture of Spike here Angus and Eliza. I love the way you've also used some short, sharp, snappy sentences to emphasise your point. Well done.
